Creative York believes art is a place for hard conversations and positive creative expressions, understanding different viewpoints and healing. In the words of Toni Morrison, "This is precisely the time when artists go to work." We are a welcoming organization that supports diversity and embraces people of every walk of life. Our organization inspires creativity through art in the community, promotes peace and dialog.
Opening Reception: Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 5 to 7pm
Closing Reception: Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 6 to 8pm
The arts foster creativity, goodness and beauty. Art brings us joy, helps us to connect with others, and helps us to express our values. The arts are a fundamental component of healthy communities, strengthening them socially, educationally and economically., benefits that are particularly important in difficult social and economic times.
Creative York inspires creativity in the community through arts education, gallery experiences and outreach programs. We offer programs for ages 3 to 103 at our facility and throughout York County.
