About Our Signature Event

Our 18th Annual Virtual Gala is our signature event of the year - the largest celebration of the kids we serve and our biggest fundraiser which provides us with sustainability. We thank you for your support of the children as we honor them on September 17th. This year our focus has been on children's fitness, health, nutrition & wellness!

As part of our annual event, you will enjoy hearing from some of the kids in our program, watch performances, a special tribute to our W4K angels, win prizes, get a sneak peak of our Raised Therapy Garden, and meet some of the outstanding people like you who help us make this work possible!

Welcome to our 18th Annual Wigs 4 Kids Gala. We have a wonderful evening planned and hope you enjoy our virtual event while in the safety of your home. Every year we celebrate with the kids we serve and their families, to honor them as they journey through their health challenges. Our gala is the only fundraiser that W4K hosts and it is vital to the sustainability of our program. Our Mission: Maggie's Wigs 4 Kids of Michigan is a local, grassroots 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides wigs & support services to children ages 3 to 18 at no charge throughout the state of Michigan. Founded in 2003, we have served over 5,000 Michigan kids in need thanks to your support! Our program focuses on children facing cancer, alopecia, trichotillomania, lupus, hydrocephalus, burns, dog bites, blood & skin disorders, down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy and any other medical disorder causing hair loss. If you know of a child in need of our services, please refer them to us.
