CI Move-A-Thon

Join us for Cottonwood Institute's second annual Move-A-Thon in partnership with We Ride 4! The Move-A-Thon is a fun, fast-paced event full of prizes and auction items. Get outside, get movin', track your movements during the month of July, and join us on Saturday, July 31st, 2021 from 6-7:30pm MT to celebrate!

How it works:

• Pick a movement like walking, biking, hiking, unicycling-- how you move is up to you!
• Download the Strava App to track your movements from July 1 - 30, 2021
• Create a Move-A-Thon Fundraising Page and share it with friends, family, and coworkers
  
• Join us for the Virtual Move-A-Thon Party & Awards Celebration on July 31st, 2021 to celebrate your sweet moves and miles!

How to Set Up Your Fundraising Page

Make your movements matter! Help us raise critical funds to get students out and moving by setting up your own fundraising page in 4 easy steps, and see our FAQ page for more information:

1. Register for the Move-A-Thon via GiveSmart or Login
   
2. Click the 'Create My Fundraising Page' button on the homepage
3. Name your page and set your personal fundraising goal
4. Personalize your page and share it with your friends, family, and coworkers! 

How to Track Your Movements

Get outside, move, and track your miles from July 1-30, 2021! Awards will be given for the most miles, most days moved, the longest time spent moving, and the funkiest moves. Be sure to follow the steps below to officially track your movements via the Strava App, and come to our virtual event for your chance to win great prizes! 

Download Strava App On Your Mobile Device:

1. Download the Strava App via the Apple Store or Google Play and create a free profile (you do not have to sign up for the pay version)
   
2. Find the 'Groups' tab and search 'Cottonwood Institute Move-A-Thon 2021' to join our official CI Move-A-Thon Strava group
3. When you're ready to move, click the 'Record' button and choose from lots of activities (windsurfing anyone?). 
4. Record your movements by pressing the big orange 'Start' button, and be sure to click save when you are done!
5. Come to our virtual event to compete for great prizes
