Episcopal Charities is the social impact arm of the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago, with long roots in the Chicago community and Northern Illinois. We work in partnership with parishes, nonprofits and social service agencies to provide food, shelter, healthcare, spiritual care, and rehabilitative assistance to those affected by systems of oppression. Episcopal Charities is increasingly committed to investing in community and parish-based efforts to examine and address the causes and conditions that give rise to deep human need. Episcopal Charities is able to continue its longstanding work for justice through grant-making, the training of organizational leaders in capacity building, and increasing humanitarian efforts that promote lasting, sustainable change.
