Whitecaps FC Auction for Southsiders' Shayne Grimmer

Welcome to the VWFC auction for Shayne Grimmer of the Southsiders!

The Southsiders have been longstanding supporters of Whitecaps FC since the group's establishment in 1999. Originally a small group united by their love for the Vancouver 86ers, the Southsiders encompass a large section of BC Place's southeast corner where their cheers and songs can be heard throughout the stadium. 

Shayne Grimmer, one of the Southsiders capos, is in need of our community's support. After being diagnosed and undergoing surgery for stage two bone cancer (chondrosarcoma) in 2020, Shayne suffer a mild heart attack (NSTEMI) this February. Shayne's health challenges continue to take a heavy toll not only on his physical condition but also on his financial circumstances. PLEASE NOTE: Auction items are available to Canadian and U.S. residents only, with pick-up or complimentary shipping care of the Whitecaps FC Fan Services department. Each item's bid increment is 15 per cent of its starting price. Unclaimed auction items will be forfeited without refund after April 30, 2021.
