What is the dress code for the event?
Dust off your best black & gold attire or get creative with an Andy Warhol inspired outfit to fit the Pittsburgh theme. Along the route there will be photo opportunities for your vehicle to participate in!
Will I receive a ticket to bring to the event?
No. The event is entirely paperless. Cars will check-in using the purchasers full name.
What do I receive with my ticket purchase?
A ticket purchase includes: 1 vehicle admission to drive-thru, 1 box of two dozen cookies prepared by local woman-owned/operated business, The little Kitchen, 1 picnic blanket, 1 Pittsburgh themed swag bag, 1 entry to the Black & Golden Mega Raffle Ticket prize package.
How many cookie boxes do we get?
Each vehicle will receive 1 box of 2 dozen cookies. Extra boxes can be added when purchasing your ticket for an additional fee of $50 per box.
Are the cookies nut-free?
Yes, all cookies are nut-free. If a passenger in the vehicle requires a gluten free box, this MUST be noted when purchasing. Otherwise they will receive a regular box. Extra gluten free boxes will not be available at the event.
Can I purchase additional boxes of cookies?
Yes. The ticket purchaser has the option to add on a box of cookies for an additional fee of $50.
What's included in the swag bags? How many do we get?
Each vehicle will receive 1 swag bag per vehicle. Each bag is filled with goodies and coupons from businesses throughout the counties we serve.
What happens after we drive through the event?
Guests will have the option to enjoy the rest of the afternoon at the park enjoying cookies on the lawn, taking nature walks along the trails or stopping by the dog park. If you only came for the cookies, that's okay too! No need to stick around.
Is there an age requirement to enter the event?
The event is family friendly. Bring the kids and the pets! There's a dog park nearby.
Will the event be CDC compliant?
As the CDC and the state of Pennsylvania begin to relax mask wearing mandates for those vaccinated, we ask you to respect those who choose to continue wearing a mask. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
We encourage carpooling! Hartwood Acres does get busy during the peak season and parking spots are based off first come first serve bases. An overflow parking lot for guests will be at the end of the drive-thru route.

Can I purchase an admission ticket on the day of the event?
To ensure the safety clients, volunteers, and staff, all attendees we encourage supporters to pre-purchase their ticket prior to the event. Limited tickets for event day.
Can I request a refund if it's raining?
No. This event will take place rain or shine and tickets are nonrefundable.
