With safety as our top priority, this year's Pittsburgh themed fundraiser is hitting the road and crossing bridges! Join the Dress for Success Pittsburgh team and presenting sponsor, PPG, for The Black & Gold Cookie Table at Hartwood Acres: A Drive-thru Fundraising Event on Sunday, May 16 between 11am-2pm.

Tickets are priced at $100 per vehicle and available for purchase beginning Monday, April 5. Each vehicle will receive a premium box of 2 dozen assorted cookies from local woman owned and operated small business, The little Kitchen, a Pittsburgh themed swag bag, 1 entry to the Black & Golden Mega Raffle Ticket prize package and a picnic blanket to safely enjoy a day at the park as a couple, family, or group of friends. Bring the kids and the pets!

Craving more cookies? Add extra boxes for an additional fee of $50. All cookies are nut-free. If a passenger in the vehicle requires a gluten free box, this MUST be noted when purchasing. Otherwise they will receive a regular box. Extra gluten free boxes will not be available at the event.

Car Decor Contest

Show us your creative side! Decorate your vehicle Pittsburgh Style for a chance to win a $100 Amazon gift card! A photo of each vehicle entered on May 16 will be posted to the Dress for Success Pittsburgh Facebook page. The entry photo that receives the most 'likes' will win a $100 Amazon gift card. Contest will close on Sunday, May 23, winner will be notified via email. To qualify, the vehicle must incorporate a Pittsburgh theme and include the Dress for Success Pittsburgh name or logo.

Women Owned/Operated Vendors

Due to the pandemic, this year's women owned/operated vendors will not be present at the event. Each vendor will celebrate the mission of Dress for Success Pittsburgh in various, creative ways!

Opal Rose invites you to an Exclusive VIP Private Shopping Event on Wednesday, May 19 from 11am-7pm. Stop by to meet Tanya Vokes, Dress for Success Pittsburgh CEO, from noon-1pm. A portion of proceeds will benefit local women who are entering and returning to the workforce.

During the month of May, Pittsburgh Candle Works, will be donating 15% of every online purchase to Dress for Success Pittsburgh. A mini candle will also be included in each swag bag. Be sure to purchase your event ticket by April 30 to ensure your swag bag!

What is the dress code for the event?

Dust off your best black & gold attire or get creative with an Andy Warhol inspired outfit to fit the Pittsburgh theme. Along the route there will be photo opportunities for your vehicle to participate in!

Will I receive a ticket to bring to the event?

No. The event is entirely paperless. Cars will check-in using the purchasers full name.

What do I receive with my ticket purchase?

A ticket purchase includes: 1 vehicle admission to drive-thru, 1 box of two dozen cookies prepared by local woman-owned/operated business, The little Kitchen, 1 picnic blanket, 1 Pittsburgh themed swag bag, 1 entry to the Black & Golden Mega Raffle Ticket prize package.

How many cookie boxes do we get?

Each vehicle will receive 1 box of 2 dozen cookies. Extra boxes can be added when purchasing your ticket for an additional fee of $50 per box.

Each vehicle will receive 1 swag bag per vehicle. Each bag is filled with goodies and coupons from businesses throughout the counties we serve.

What happens after we drive through the event?

Guests will have the option to enjoy the rest of the afternoon at the park enjoying cookies on the lawn, taking nature walks along the trails or stopping by the dog park. If you only came for the cookies, that's okay too! No need to stick around.

Is there an age requirement to enter the event?

The event is family friendly. Bring the kids and the pets! There's a dog park nearby.

Will the event be CDC compliant?

As the CDC and the state of Pennsylvania begin to relax mask wearing mandates for those vaccinated, we ask you to respect those who choose to continue wearing a mask. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

We encourage carpooling! Hartwood Acres does get busy during the peak season and parking spots are based off first come first serve bases. An overflow parking lot for guests will be at the end of the drive-thru route.

Can I purchase an admission ticket on the day of the event?

To ensure the safety clients, volunteers, and staff, all attendees we encourage supporters to pre-purchase their ticket prior to the event. Limited tickets for event day.

Can I request a refund if it's raining?

No. This event will take place rain or shine and tickets are nonrefundable.
