Richard Mumby
Co-Founder of NY Forever
Richard Mumby is a proud, passionate, multi-decade NYC resident. Over the years, he has enjoyed endless incredible experiences in New York City - from competing in triathlons (yes, you can swim in the Hudson!) to exploring museums across the boroughs. Richard has supported a range of organizations that contribute to the richness of the city for all New Yorkers. Most recently, Richard helped start NY Forever, a non-profit designed to inspire New Yorkers to participate in the city's next big chapter.
Professionally. Richard is an entrepreneur and early-stage venture investor, and he is active in the NYC start-up community. Previously, he served as the Chief Marketing Officer of MakeSpace, the on-demand, full-service storage provider. Richard was the Chief Marketing Officer of PAX Labs, and he was also the Head of Marketing at Bonobos. He had marketing leadership roles at the Gilt Groupe and American Express. Richard was a management consultant at Bain & Co in the New York City office. Richard received his B.A. from the University of Michigan and M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
