Women Build

Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County (HFHMC) has been providing affordable housing for our area. We have just completed our 59th home in Long Branch. Just in time for this year's Women Build, we have broken ground on our 60th project: a two-family home in Atlantic Highlands.

HFHMC has a long history of empowering women to affect change through the initiative known as Women Build. This Spring, Women Build will be a unique opportunity where women can work together to volunteer, build and advocate for decent and affordable homes along with our partner families.

Depending on the construction schedule, weather and each town's permitting process, we expect to be working on at least one home build project and a wheelchair ramp this Spring. The work day begins at 9am and ends at 3pm. Safety is an integral part of our Women Build event so the number of volunteers present on site is limited. All volunteers must adhere to the Covid-19 safety guidelines instituted by public health officials.

We hope you can join us so that together we will make a lasting difference in a deserving family's life!
