Support a Mission That Does More

Nativity Jesuit Academy is not a typical K-8 school. Because of you, it is a "mission that does more" for students and their families on the southside of Milwaukee. Please consider renewing your important partnership with a gift to support Nativity students as they learn and grow at our Northwoods Campus this summer.

Since our founding in 1993, an extended school year has been part of the Nativity model. Elementary students in grades 1-5 attend summer school at our Milwaukee campus. Middle school students in grades 6-8 journey to our Northwoods Campus in Iron County, WI for a residential academic summer program known as Camp Thunderhead. While at camp, Nativity students take classes in math, reading and science six mornings per week while their afternoons are filled with classic summer camp activities such as fishing, hiking and swimming.

Also embedded within this program is an intentional sequence to foster leadership in students. This is core to Nativity's mission to educate youth for lives of Christian leadership and service. As alumnus Ruben Garcia '09 reflects, "Camp Thunderhead is a special place that focuses on embodying the ideas of the Jesuits and helping others. When you are there, you come to learn who you really are and what you are meant to do in the world."

A Nativity education builds confidence and independence- it gives children the opportunity to see themselves as leaders. Having this experience at such a formative age is a foundation they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. By investing in Nativity Jesuit Academy, you will have a lasting influence to ensure that students grow to be men and women for others.
