What is the Bridge of Hope Greater Denver Sleep Out?

A homelessness simulation that highlights a hidden aspect of family homelessness-living in cars. Participants will "live" out of their cars for one night to better understand all that homeless families experience.
We are challenging participants to raise $1,000 per car for Bridge of Hope Greater Denver to help end homelessness for single moms and their children in our community.

How it works

1. Set your Sleep-Out date (April 1-May 31).

2. Invite your friends to join you.

3. Set up and personalize your online donation page under the "Fundraisers" section.

4. Set a fundraising goal. We encourage everyone to start with a goal of raising $1000 per car.

5. Learn more about family homelessness in our community. Bridge of Hope will share information for you to pass along to your supporters.

6. Share your fundraising page on social media, post pictures and videos using the hashtag #bohsleepout. Email, text family and friends and ask them to consider donating.

7. Join our Facebook group for updates, information about family homelessness, and ideas for fundraising.

8. SLEEP OUT! Sleep in your car, your backyard, or any legal and safe location. (Participating locations will be listed here) Share your experience, your thoughts, and pictures.
