We believe that heading off human trafficking recruitment before it begins is one of the most effective contributions we can make to ending modern slavery. To date, 11,500+ students have been equipped to recognize red flags through this prevention program. Now available for online learning, kNOw MORE! utilizes the same student-centered multimedia teaching style with dramas that have shifted to film, live storytelling, discussion and Survivor leadership. This program continues to be free to San Diego County public schools and is flexible in it's online delivery to work with the needs of specific classrooms. This coming year we hope to expand the program to offer it to community groups, faith congregations and youth organizations. Learn more here.

As our primary goal at PLNU is to educate and mentor students, and given, for example, the rapid growth of the movement against trafficking as a vocational calling of students from across all disciplines, the CJR is moving from volunteer to paid student leaders. Need: $2,000; $1,000 per event
Students lead at least two high-involvement, high impact awareness events on campus each year that raise awareness and give practical outlets for their passion for justice and reconciliation. For example, the Roots of Giving Fair is an alternative ethical market during the Christmas season and Wear Justice week is a series of events in the Spring semester that gets the community active in minimizing exploitation in the supply chains of our lives. Your giving will help widen their impact on campus and in the community.
