WINTER IS BACK, AND WE'RE LOVING LA NIÑA!
You've prayed, hoped, and danced for snow all winter, and it's finally here! Western Montana's mountains are busier than ever before, with new and veteran backcountry users enjoying the goods. We want to help keep the stoke high while encouraging our amazing community of skiers and riders to stay safe out there.
In case you couldn't tell until recently, it's a La Nina year, and to celebrate the return of winter, the West Central Montana Avalanche Foundation is throwing an exciting virtual fundraising event. We have two outstanding gear packages and two ways to enter the drawing. This event kicks off on Valentine's Day and ends on March 7, 2021. Please help us support west-central Montana's avalanche forecasting and education programs by joining us in LOVING LA NIÑA!
You have two ways to participate in LOVING LA NIÑA:
- SEND IN YOUR PUBLIC OBSERVATIONS. If you're out in the forecast area regularly, we would love to hear from you! Share the love by sharing what you see out there. For every observation you submit, you'll get a shot at winning the beacon, probe, and shovel prize package. HERE'S HOW
- BUY A RAFFLE TICKET. You can enter to win either prize package as many times as you'd like by buying a raffle ticket. And don't forget to tell your buddies, because all proceeds benefit west-central Montana's avalanche forecasting and education programs!
Together, we can save lives and continue creating the most fun, safe, and responsible backcountry community possible. Spread the word, and spread the love for La Nina!
