How does the Action Auction work?

All bidding will take place on this system.  You will be able to use your smartphone, tablet or computer to keep up with the status of your bids and continue bidding.  You will know which day your item will sell based on one of the categories of your item:  Sept 8, Sept 9, Sept 10 or Sept 11.  The items at approximately 11:00pm EDT or five minutes after Action Auction goes off the air on CET 48 or ThinkTV 16.   You can be the winning bidder wherever you are in the world!

How do I participate in the Action Auction?

Get started online through this page.  Just hit the 'Register Now' button toward the top of this page.  Enter your name, address, phone number, email and credit or debit card number.   A credit or debit card must be registered to place a bid.  Browse the Silent Auction and start bidding on your favorite items!  You may set a maximum bid if desired and GiveSmart will continue to keep you in the running until you reach your maximum bid.  Also check out the Instant Buy items that are not up for auction but each has a buy-it-now price.

How can I keep active and know if I am outbid or have won an item?

You will be notified via text if you have been outbid.  If you are NOT receiving the text messages make sure that you have the correct mobile number under your profile.  The texts will continue to notify you when you have been outbid or reached your maximum bid. When the auction closes, you will also receive a text message if you won any items.

How do I pay for my auction items?

Auction winners are required to make payment after being notified that they are the winning bidder.   If your items have not been paid for by 9:00am on the day following the notification that you have won an item, your registered credit or debit card will be charged..

How do I collect my winnings?

If you are the winning bidder on a gift certificate or tickets, your item will be mailed to you.  If you are the winner of an item, please log into the Events Page of the CET or ThinkTV website (depending on which location you wish to pick up your items) and select the option to schedule your pick up.  All certificates will be mailed, they will not be available at a pick up appointment.


Can I pay by check?

If you will be picking up your items at CET, you may pay by check.  In order to to do that, you will need to contact the Action Auction Office by 10:00am the day after your item has closed and request a payment by check.  Please call 513-345-6579.  If you have not contacted the office before 10:00am your registered card will be charged.  If you are picking up your items at ThinkTV, you will not be able to pay by check.
