The Annual Acres of Diamonds Gala, one of the oldest charitable events in Philadelphia and the marquee fundraiser for Temple University Hospital is named for Temple Founder Russell H. Conwell's famous speech which celebrates the idea that the talent and resources to achieve great things are found in our own backyard.
In this extraordinary year, Temple's Nurses and Hospital Week, May 6 - 12 - celebrating our own Acres of Diamonds - will lift up and honor our entire community, with activities to recognize all employees and opportunities for our supporters to engage and partner as we bring the spirit of the Acres of Diamonds Gala to our Temple Health campuses - TUH-Main Campus, TUH-Episcopal Campus, TUH-Jeanes Campus, TUH-Northeastern Campus and Fox Chase Cancer Center.
Proceeds support Temple University Health System's capital investments in vital lifesaving work at all our campuses, in the community and across the region.
Honor Temple's Own Acres of Diamonds
The Temple team - our own diamonds - not only stepped up to lead the COVID response in Philadelphia with some of the best outcomes in the nation, they also continued to work tirelessly to provide the highest quality care to patients across the region and across the country.
