For the past 15 years, Santa Rosa Ranch has been making significant investment by quietly building our operation into the largest registered breeder of Brangus and Ultrablack cattle in the United States. This goal was reached by retaining every registered female and continuously improving our cow herd. Our belief is to develop the ideal female that will make our customers more money - she is moderate, reproductively efficient, has ideal maternal traits, easy fleshing ability and requiring lower input costs while calving consistently, year after year.

• 9 of the 20 lots in this sale are bloodlines that have never been available to the public. They were developed here at Santa Rosa Ranch to express the ideal maternal traits of a Brangus female, which is the most highly sought-after cow in the entire cattle industry.
• No special conditioning or treatment has been given to these heifers, beyond our normal protocol. They were all pulled out of large pastures to video and photograph. They were only on grass and had no sales preparation, except for clipping their heads.
• Lots 1 through 5 are our Open Heifer lots.
• Lots 6 through 20 are our Bred Heifer lots. All of these heifers underwent a timed-AI protocol and are bred to Double Play 22C2, Built Right 803C62 or Counter Top 44E on June 2, 2020, with an Expected Calving Date of March 15, 2021.

This Auction has a horse race style finish. Every time someone bids during the last 5 minutes of the auction the clock will extend 5 more minutes until no one bids for an entire 5 minutes. Please note that this countdown duration may be changed without notice during the auction.

A credit/debit card will be required ONLY to verify identity of bidders, but you will not be charged for your purchases on your card UNLESS you specifically choose that option or you have not paid for your purchases prior to 90 days after the auction closes. Your credit card will be charged if payment has not been received within 90 days after purchase or arrangements have not been communicated. If you pay with a card you will be charged a 5% transaction fee. If you pay by check after receiving an invoice via e-mail from SmartAuctions the 5% transaction fee is automatically waived.
