Orange County School of the Arts
The Orange County School of the Arts is a public charter school for 7th - 12th grade students who are passionate about their academic and arts education. Each student is able to focus on a particular artform and works hard daily to take that talent to the next level. OCSA has nearly 2,200 students that invest countless hours in their education and pursuing their artistic dreams. They reach for the stars every day.
Mission Statement: Orange County School of the Arts provides an unparalleled arts and academic education in a creative, challenging, and nurturing environment to a diverse student body passionate about the arts, preparing them to reach their highest potential.
The Orange County School of the Arts holiday tree theme is "Reach for the Stars!" because our students always use their artistic skills to beautify their local community and raise the community spirit. We illustrated our theme by creating hand-cut wooden star ornaments and hand-painted each ornament with a personal design that says "Reach for the Stars". The students used their ingenuity and creativity as well as their color and design skills to create a beautiful color coordinated tree with various shades of lush blues, greens and golds. There are also added handwritten "Wish on a Star" wish tags with personal uplifting wishes for everyone. We made all of the stars, wish tags and other surprise star ornaments as well as the colorful globe ornaments and a customized tree topper. The wooden tree base was designed and painted as a little stack of holiday gifts complete with detailed hand-painted wrapping paper and bows. We hope our tree inspires people and makes them feel positive, hopeful and celebrated.
All proceeds will go to the amazing conservatories at Orange County School of the Arts.
