Artist: Terri Katz Kasimov

Description of Buffalo: "Rooted in Buffalo - Rooty" is comprised of numerous drawings she made of Western New York trees. In addition, on the buffalo there are actual roots and a piece of tree that was cut down from the grounds of the Albright Knox Art Gallery. That tree had been a favorite of her golden retrievers. With this collage, the Buffalo represents the links, roots and her love for the city. The buffalo is approximately 18" long and 12" high and is made of terra cotta.
