Richmond Christmas Fund: A Not So Isolated Night

Each year, the Richmond Christmas Fund helps brighten the holidays for our neighbours in need, providing nearly 3,000 low-income residents with grocery vouchers, toys, books, and gift cards. 

This year, though, is different. The economic impact of COVID-19 has been felt throughout the Richmond community. Countless families are now struggling to get by, and will depend on the Christmas Fund for support. At the same time, we've had to cancel or scale back many of our regular fundraising activities. The need is greater, but our resources are fewer.

Despite these challenges, our mission remains the same: to ensure that every Richmond resident can share in the holiday spirit. But we can't do it without you.

Which brings us to A Not So Isolated Night, the Richmond Christmas Fund's first ever online auction. Between November 26 and December 1, you'll have an opportunity to bid on dozens of unique items donated by local businesses and supporters. It's a chance to do some holiday shopping, and maybe find a gift for yourself. Either way, you're sure to get a great deal!

But what matters most is the cause. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Christmas Fund. Every dollar raised will make the holidays a little brighter. A senior couple will get to enjoy a festive meal. A single mother will be able to provide gifts for her children. A family who thought that Christmas wouldn't happen this year will experience a holiday miracle. All because of you.
