In 2020, Sheboygan County Food Bank is responding to the community's needs by providing emergency food for thousands more families each month compared to 2019. Ensure 40 families affected by the COVID-19 crisis are supported with emergency boxes for one month. Emergency boxes each feed a family of four and include a variety of healthy non-perishable food items as well as personal care items.
Hundreds of children count on Sheboygan County Food Bank's Food for Thought weekend backpack program to eat when they are not at school. Ensure that 21 children are nourished with healthy meals and snacks that are ready-to-eat, or easy-to-heat, for an entire school year.
