Let's Glow!

Make the night one to remember with these fun activities!

Deliciously illuminating! Staff member Liz Schurrer and her family taste test this glow-in-the-dark dessert! To make a tantalizing treat for the taste buds that will glow, begin with a box brand of cupcakes or a favorite family recipe (Try Duff Goldman's Vanilla cupcake and buttercream recipe!) Find the instructions to make them GLOW here.

It may be slimy but it sure is fun! Luke and Maddy are here to show you how to whip up a slippery batch of your own glow-in-the-dark slime!

About congenital heart disease (CHD): CHD is the most common birth defect and a leading cause of infant death. It is also a chronic condition for which there is no cure, with challenges that last throughout their lifetime.

About Conquering CHD ( We are Conquering CHD (formerly Pediatric Congenital Heart Association).  We are empowering patients and families through education, support, research and advocacy.  Improving quality and outcomes for all those afflicted with congenital heart disease is what we do every day.  All of our staff, board members, state chapters and volunteers are either patients, family members or friends of those with congenital heart disease.  In 2019 our staff and volunteers showed up to provide resources to more than 52,000 individuals. Our online efforts reached 15.8 people with our website accessed nearly 120,000 times.
