Location: Virtual Event
Each year, the American Red Cross serving Greater Long Beach, South Bay, Metro and Southeast Los Angeles honors individuals from across Los Angeles County who have demonstrated heroism through extraordinary acts of courage and humanitarian service. We call these selfless individuals Hometown Heroes.
Hometown Heroes are ordinary people who performed CPR when a stranger collapsed at a shopping mall, saved someone from drowning, or pulled someone from a burning car or building.
For the first time in 16 years, we are excited to share these remarkable individuals' stories with all of you at our first-ever virtual event.
Thirteen incredible individuals will be receiving awards at the Hometown Heroes Awards.
Learn more about them here.
