About the Corporate Chess League

Founded in 2017, the Corporate Chess League was established to bring Saint Louis area professionals a fun but competitive edge for the strategic thinker and the casual chess player alike. Thanks to the vision of Alex Kerford, President of the Chess Campus Young Professionals Board and Edward Jones financial advisor, the Corporate Chess League has grown from 4 teams in 2017, to 12 teams in 2021. Beginning in 2021, the Corporate Chess League will offer 2 leagues to participating teams, one in the Spring and one in the Fall.

Why You and Your Company Should Join

Apart from the obvious reasons of having fun and team building, we encourage individuals to join to strengthen their focus, encourage strategic thinking and creativity and to build and establish relationships with individuals within similar fields.
