What is Coatober?
Join Mile High Behavioral Healthcare and the Comitis Crisis Center as we collect new or slightly used coats to support those experiencing homelessness at the inaugural Coatober collection drive. Help us reach our goal of collecting 1,000 coats for men, women and children in the greater Denver/Aurora area. Additional winter gear will be accepted such as gloves, hats, boots, pants and scarfs. Both adults and children clothing will be accepted.
Get Involved:
This year, the event will be hosted by you by participating as a collection site to collect coats, jackets and other winter clothing for those experiencing homelessness. Businesses and Groups can also participate by launching their own fundraising webpage to raise funds for the Comitis Crisis Center. You will be provided a large collection box and flyers about Coatober as well as a fundraising webpage or both (you choose).
