Title: Rescued Mama

Artist: Patricia Drone

Medium: Acrylic on Canvas

Dimensions: 18"x24"

Animal depicted is Bedford Falls.

Bedford Falls had her puppies under an abandoned house in East St. Louis, when we first went with hopes of rescuing her, she was running with a pack of "owned" pups and the "owner" was not cooperative or nice to our rescuers but we were determined to save these puppies from a terrible life on the streets, or in the wrong hands. Our team went early in the morning , before the sun came up but weren't successful in rescuing Momma (now named Bedford Falls), so we made the difficult decision to rescue the puppies while we had the chance, because they were old enough to safely be separated. We were overjoyed when the following week, we saw momma a street over from and we were able to trap her and bring her to safety! Her puppies went straight to foster and it didn't take long for Bedford Falls to find the perfect forever home where she will be a loved member of the family!
