Title: Battle of Evermore

Artist: Pamela Savoie

Medium: Acrylic and Mixed Media

Dimensions: 16"x20"

Animal Depicted is Battle of Evermore.

Battle of Evermore was born warm and safe along with his three other siblings in a foster home in late December. When he was born, his foster parents immediately noticed that the spots on his back looked just like little drips of paint all the way down his back. He was noticeably unique as soon as he was born. As he grew, it became more and more evident what a special boy he truly was. Battle of Evermore was the most pure hearted little pup anyone could ever meet. He loved nothing more than to curl up on a human's shoulder or lap and snooze in a little ball. A few weeks into his life, his fosters began to notice that Battle of Evermore seemed to be having difficulties figuring out things that his littermates didn't have any trouble with. His head also appeared to be a bit swollen. His foster mom took him to the vet and found out that he had a condition called hydrocephalus. Hydrocephalus is a condition in which the puppy has water on their brain, and the fluid build up can cause pressure on the brain. His foster parents began the search for a family that understood the risks that came with adopting him, but wanted to love and soil him despite all of that. Luckily, the perfect family came along. Parents, two children, and two dogs chose to adopt Battle of Evermore and name him Tater. They loved him for a couple of weeks and he became BEST friends with his new adopted fur siblings. Unfortunately, after a couple of weeks in a loving family feeling wanted and treasured, Battle of Evermore lost his life to complications from hydrocephalus. Though his life was short, there is no doubt that it was lived well. He will always be remembered as the sweetest little pup with a love for life!
