Due to complications around COVID-19, we made the difficult decision to postpone the 60th Annual Pro Amateur Golf Championship to September 12, 2020 and to cancel this year's Dinner on the Bluff event. This elegant dinner, hosted annually by the Founders' Board of Lurie Children's, celebrates the Pro Am's decades of friendship and philanthropy, and honors the life-saving work taking place at the Hospital.

In lieu of Dinner on the Bluff, this year we are hosting the inaugural Virtual Paddle Raise. All proceeds from this event will go toward the Founders' Board's three year, $7.5 million gift supporting New Frontiers in Pediatric Medicine and Research. This pledge, which directly aligns with the hospital's strategic plan, Vision 2025, provides philanthropic support to three key areas: Transformational research, community-based healthcare delivery and an innovative endowed chair in medical ethics.
