For Pride Month 2017, the National Liberty Museum presented Transparency, the nation's first museum exhibition of studio glass works produced exclusively by artists in the LGBTQ+ community. Many of the selected works in this ground-breaking exhibition were created specifically for the show, and the result was a three-dimensional meditation on queer experience that is as multifaceted as the community from which it comes.

In 2019, the Museum of Glass and the National Liberty Museum decided to partner for a second rendition of yet another ground-breaking presentation of the exhibition. Transparency later opened on October 12th, 2019 at the Museum of Glass located in Tacoma, Washington. While the physical exhibition is currently being housed at the Museum of Glass, the NLM is celebrating Pride Month 2020 by highlighting our favorite LGBTQ+ artists & designers in our exclusive online shopping experience. The National Liberty Museum is proud to present the Transparency Pride Pop Up Shop!
