Caring is Contagious Too-Summer 2020

Raising a child with special needs is difficult most of the time- but during a global pandemic... with home learning/teletherapy/quarantine... it has been exceptionally challenging.
Over the last few weeks Community Connections has had the opportunity to deliver 102 care boxes to families raising children with intellectual and developmental disabilities across central Arkansas. We have done weekly parent support Zoom calls and virtual programs and meetings for kids. We are actively working to support families in new and innovative ways and are busy planning to resume programs this summer and fall and NEED YOUR HELP!

We can not offer our activities without help from individuals like YOU! 

It does not cost a lot of money to run our programs (stewardship is a BIG deal to us!), and every dollar helps make a big impact.

Community Connections is proud to offer quality extra-curricular activities for children with special needs, FREE of charge, throughout the year.  We believe all children deserve the opportunity to participate in sports and the arts and glean the benefits of being on a team, building self-esteem and social skills, and participating in an after school activities.

With your help, Community Connections will be able to offer programs including tennis, bowling, art, football, basketball, cheer, martial arts, ACTS Jr. theatre, and more in the fall of 2020!
