You are invited to our fall commUNITY celebration September 21-27!

Think AutumnFest, but re-imagined! What does that mean? Events need to evolve and look a bit different in a pandemic, yet we still yearn to gather as a community to support our parish and school, to be together, to cultivate relationships, and grow in faith. Will you join us to do exactly that at commUNITYfest?

  • SILENT AUCTION:  commUNITYfest will have some of your favorite AutumnFest fun like silent action baskets and trivia! The silent auction will be online beginning Monday, September 21, ending at 10PM on Saturday, September 26.
  • DRIVE IN MOVIE:  Join us in the St. John's parking lot for a drive-in movie on Friday night! You have spoken - the winner is ONWARD!  This family-friendly flick will be a great way to gather together and enjoy a beautiful fall evening complete.  Reserve your spot for your vehicle by purchasing a reservation here.  Movie popcorn and bottled water for the whole car are included in your reserved spot.  Limited grass area seating is available around the parking lot - bring your own lawn chairs and AM/FM radio to listen to the movie.  Gates open at 6:30 PM.  The movie will begin at 7:30.
  • FOOD TRUCK FESTIVAL:  On Saturday during the day, there will be a Food Truck Festival from 11 AM-4 PM!  Rollin Nolens BBQ, Fair Faves, Phararoh's Gyros,  Samurai Teppanyaki, El Huarache Mexicano, and Mik Mart Ice Cream will be on-site preparing fresh food for your enjoyment! Plan to spend a perfect fall day sampling a variety of food and a fellowship atmosphere.
  • BASH BAGS AND VIRTUAL TRIVIA:  The online trivia contest will take place via our St. John's Facebook page on Saturday evening. Use this link for the Facebook Trivia Event Page.  It is FREE and prizes will be awarded!  We've taken some of the work out of the evening - Bash Bags of festive adult cocktails and mocktails for the the kiddos can be ordered through September 21st here as well.  Pick up at 4-6 PM on Saturday September 26th through the Pre-School drop off lane.
  • SUNDAY MASS:  Father Ben Little's Installation Mass occurs on Sunday 9/27. This is a Mass where Father will be installed as pastor of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.  Details can be found here.
  •  WANT TO GET INVOLVED?  Volunteer help is needed to help with traffic flow, sanitation, trash pick-up, and more! Volunteering is another terrific way to become a part of the SJB community. To volunteer, click the link below!
