Join us for our first ever VIRTUAL Women Against MS Luncheon!

Women Against MS (WAMS) is a nationwide educational and fundraising event that helps to increase public awareness of MS and the National MS Society while acknowledging and encouraging the advancement of women philanthropists. Our luncheon brings together leaders from the business, philanthropic, and healthcare communities to ensure that we move MS research forward. The event features both a mission spotlight and keynote speaker, jewelry raffle, and designer purse auction.

In 2019, nearly 300 attendees helped to raise more than $80,000 to benefit important research, programs, and services that improve the lives of the nearly 1 million people living with MS in the United States.

Keynote Speaker: Lydia Emily

International Artist

As an international artist and someone living with MS, Lydia Emily uses visual concepts and imagery to bring a message of hope to those living with the disease.

Her artwork spreads the message of hope and strength to those whose lives are touched by MS. She has used her diagnosis not only as a catalyst for her art, but also as a way of bringing a voice to the movement. Because, as she says, "Art should do more than hang, it should bring hope. It should help."

Lydia Emily has been an incredible champion of the National MS Society - speaking at the Public Policy Conference, fundraising events and participating in various awareness campaigns.

Benita Zahn, DPS, co-anchors NewsChannel 13 Live at 4 with Jerry Gretzinger and Live at 6 with Jim Kambrich. She is also the health reporter, covering issues including wellness, treatment breakthroughs, aging, nutrition, and the latest health care trends. A nine-time Emmy nominee, she has also been a Women Against MS honoree, and won media awards from the American Cancer Society, the American Lung Association, and the American Heart Association.
