Tino Soriano
Cadillac Ranch (Amarillo, Texas, 2004)
This boy clearly found a fascinating seat on a car in Cadillac Ranch, an attraction in Amarillo, Texas. Ten Cadillacs, covered in graffiti, are buried nose down in a single file in a cow pasture. Barcelona-based photographer Tino Soriano, divides his time between photojournalism and travel photography. He captured the sculpture's artistry and appeal. This unconventional exhibit was created in 1974 by the avant-garde design group, Ant Farm. The cars are periodically repainted - in 2012, with rainbows to mark a celebration of Gay Pride and in June 2020 in black, with the words, "Black Lives Matter."
