Middle Grounds Fishing Trip with Hang'Em High Sport Fishing with Two Nights' Accommodations for Six

Let's go fishing out of Crystal River! This trip of a lifetime is a 17-hour trip to the Middle Grounds during the months of May through October. On this trip, you'll leave the dock at 2:30 am and return to the dock at 4:30 pm the same day. The captain will provide jumbo marine grade bean bag chairs for each client for the 90-mile trip out to some of the best bottom fishing there is. Typically, they arrive at the fishing grounds around 5:30 am and begin catching snapper and grouper as the sun comes up. They'll also put out flat lines for kingfish and wahoo which bite more at sunrise. As the sun comes up the grouper bites usually picks up and they switch over to catching them. Around 11AM they usually start working their way home targeting whichever species of fish that they have not maxed out on yet. Their 42 ft Freeman with quad 350's is designed and built specifically for long range fishing trips boasting a cruising speed of 40-45 mph while maintaining a great ride.

They specialize in catching as many species as possible. In addition to bottom fish, they also target pelagic species such as Dolphin, Wahoo, and Blackfin tuna when possible. The bottom fish they target on the Middle Grounds are Vermillion Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, lane Snapper, Red Snapper, Gag Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Red Grouper, Amberjack, Kingfish, Cobia, and Red Porgies. With such a variety of species to target they have no trouble bringing home a box full of fish on these fantastic trips.

Your trip also includes 2 night's accommodations (3 double occupancy rooms) at the Crystal River Resort - Best Western which is located on Kings Bay. The grounds feature a swimming pool overlooking Kings Bay, boat ramp, dive shop, plenty trailer parking and next-door restaurant and open-air bar & grill.! This trip expires one year from purchase and must be booked on mutually agreeable dates during the months of May-October.
