"Working the Shallows" by Herb Booth
Frame size: Approximately 34"H x 40"W
Collector's Edition/ Remark
Herb Booth wedded his artistic skills with decades of experience as a naturalist and hunter. Today he is one of the best known and most sought after painters of sporting and wildlife scenes in Texas. Collectors of sporting art throughout the country also know and value his work. Booth's work has appeared in many of the nationally known sporting magazines. He has designed eleven conservation stamp prints. He is best known for his watercolor paintings, but he also does original graphics. Author Michael McIntosh notes: "It is a peculiar fact of sporting art is that it cannot be successfully faked. A sporting scene, if it aspires to any degree of acceptance, must not only reflect genuine experience on the artist's part but must also evoke the memory and feeling of similar experience in the viewer." In Booth's art the sense of authenticity and depth of personal experience are instantly recognizable. For the past twenty years he has specialized in personalized sporting scenes. His painting of families hunting or fishing together have become instant family heirlooms for the people who buy them.

Rally for Redfish - Support CCA Statewide Stock Enhancements In the wake of devastating red tide events CCA Florida along with Duke Energy released more 34,000 juvenile and adult redfish in last year. In March 2019, First Lady Casey DeSantis, Secretary Noah Valenstein of the Department of Environmental Protection and state Rep. Bob Rommel joined CCA Florida to release redfish in Collier County. Releases continued along the West Coast, offering opportunities for members, families and local dignitaries to participate and support this recovery effort. To continue restocking efforts, CCA Florida is again partnering with Duke Energy but together we are stepping up our game. With the new "Rally for Redfish" and "Release the East" programs CCA and Duke will be releasing hundreds of thousands of juvenile redfish along both coasts over the next 2 years. To make these plans a reality we are counting on you to join this important initiative for Florida's fisheries. Become an integral influencer for "Rally for Redfish" in 2020. CCA Florida is offering 50 opportunities for donors to make a statewide impact in redfish restocking efforts with 100% of each donation going directly to fund statewide stock enhancements. Patrons who commit to this initiative will receive an authentic Duke Energy / CCA Florida "Rally for Redfish 2020" tag to commemorate his or her support.
