BRPF Week of Giving, Golf and Gratitude

For the past 20 years, the BRPF Annual Golf Outing has been the cornerstone of our fundraising efforts and its success is essential to our mission of finding a cure and helping thousands of individuals affected by paralysis. In total more than $5.5 million has been raised and we are hoping to keep the momentum going this year, despite the pandemic.

This year's event - our 21st - is now a Week of Giving, Golf and Gratitude! The week-long celebration will kick-off with our Online Silent Auction on Monday, September 14th, followed by our 40 minute Virtual Program on Sunday, September 20 at 7 p.m. and then cap off the excitement with Golf at Silver Springs Country Club on Monday, September 21. During the short program we will highlight how your support of the BRPF is helping make a difference in the lives of so many people and advancing important research to treat those with spinal cord injury-related paralysis. We will introduce you to some great auction items and provide you a chance to continue to make a tremendous impact on thousands of people affected by paralysis. Covid has had a tremendous impact on individuals suffering with paralysis from a health standpoint, but more importantly it simply has threatened our ability to regain and maintain our independence.

Once you register, you will begin receiving updates via e-mail and text about the auction, the amazing items and the virtual program. We will e-mail and text you the direct link to join the virtual event on the day of the event.

So whether you golf, bid, listen in and/or simply make a donation, we encourage you to join us and support us in any way you can. And, although we can't all convene in person, nothing can stop us from celebrating! This year, it's more important than ever.

Bryon's Virtual Run/Walk/Roll to Cure Paralysis

Our Annual Run/Walk/Roll to Cure Paralysis that usually takes place on the 1st Sunday in October is also taking on another format due to Covid. Carroll University and the BRPF did not feel it was safe to hold the in person event. However, for those individuals that would like to still support the BRPF by going out on their own and challenging themselves while raising money and awareness we fully support you. Whether you would like to run, walk, roll or take up some other activity you can sign up on our JustGiving platform and gather pledges from your friends and family. Then when you take up your challenge sometime this fall you can keep us updated via social media on your progress. It's easy to sign up and there is no pressure.
