How do I participate in the online auction?
You must be registered to participate. Registration is easy, just click Sign In or Register in the top left hand corner of the page. From there, click "Register" and just follow the prompted directions. You can see registration quick tips here.
I participated in the Vision of Hope auction last year, do I need to register again?
If you participated in our mobile auction last year, you are already registered and just need to log in when it's time to bid!
How do I pay for my item once I win?
We require that you put a credit card on file when bidding on items for an easy, quick check out. At the end of the night, you'll be able to go to your activity and check out with just a few clicks! If you prefer to pay by check to avoid credit card processing fees, please reach out to Samantha Hartsoe (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Chelsea Pittman (email@example.com) for information on how to send in your payment.
How do I retrieve or arrange my auction item/experience?
Boys Hope Girls Hope of NY staff will contact you following the auction with all the pertinent information you need to know for next steps in fulfilling your auction win. Keep an eye on your email inbox!
How can I share the auction with my friends?
Since our event is 100% virtual this year, anyone, anywhere can participate! Direct friends and family to bhghny.givesmart.com so they can register and bid online. Remember, it's all for the scholars and we need everyone's support more than ever this year.
When does the auction go live?
Silent auction items will be available for bidding on the site beginning on Friday, May 1st at 8:00 a.m.
Is there still a live auction?
This year, live auction items are flagged as our "Premium" items, and they will only be open for bidding between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. on Thursday 5/07. We'll be sending out and posting previews for our premium items until it opens, so be ready to BID LIKE CRAZY ON THURSDAY MAY 7TH!
