Celebrate 25 amazing years of Hand in Paw by joining us for our 20th annual signature auction, Picasso Pets, to help bring Animal-Assisted Therapy to those who need it most.

The diamond-studded gala will take place on Saturday, August 14 from 6-10pm at The Grand Bohemian. To allow room for social distancing and other COVID protocol, this year's Picasso Pets guest list will be limited by invitation.

We'll start the evening with a chic cocktail reception featuring delicious drinks and hors d'oeuvres, diamond drop, wine pull and more. Following the reception, guests will enjoy the official debut of our 2021 Picasso Pets paintings. These paintings are created by prominent local artists who work with patrons and their pets to create exceptional commissioned pieces that are treasured for a lifetime. A glitzy live auction will add to the evening's excitement, and Hand in Paw Therapy Teams will interact with guests throughout the event!

The artistic theme for the night and inspiration for the 2021 Face of Picasso Pets, Bristol Fulton, is "Diamonds are Furever". The Face of Picasso Pets was created by local artist, Becky Denny, who drew inspiration from the glamour of Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany's. Guests are encouraged to wear their most sparkly jewelry (and masks!) with their glamorous Hollywood attire to match the theme!

Picasso Pets was created to celebrate animals' amazing ability to help people have a brighter day, to heal and to realize their potential. All funds raised enable Hand in Paw to carry out our mission to improve human health and well-being.

At the start of the event, you will receive a personalized link that will open your Picasso Pets online profile and allow you to purchase Buy-It-Now items such as wine from the wine pull. If you win live auction items, these purchases will be automatically added to your profile for a seamless checkout!

Trained volunteers will be available at the event to assist with the buying process should you have any questions!
