Participate in the auction!Hastings and Prescott have been neighbors along the river for over 200 years! For nearly a decade, we have gathered annually to celebrate our shared commitment to advancing the arts in our communities.
Since our beginning in 2008, The Hastings and Prescott Area Arts Council (www.HPAAC.org) has been dedicated to providing more opportunities for the arts and humanities to thrive through three main impact areas: Funding Scholarships, Developing Local Partnerships, and Advancing Arts Programming.
It is through your support of HPAAC and participation in the Friends Along the River Gala that these efforts continue. Thank you for joining us!
Auction items can be picked up beginning the following day (Sept. 28) at 121 Tyler Street, Suite 110A (ARTSPACE Building), Hastings, MN. Pickup Hours will be 10 AM - 2 PM Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Some examples include art and music Scholarships for students, Tuesday Coffee Concerts, Sod House Theatre, Lumin Theatre Lab, Summer SPARK Program, Orange Dragon Art Gallery, Railway Art Gallery, River Valley Band, Building Bridges, The Longer Table, Seussical the Musical, Third Coast Percussion Residency, Maria Bournaki Residency, the Hmong "Seeds for Change" Art Exhibit, and Annual Local Arts Heroes recognitions.

GALA DETAILS
In order to protect the health and safety of our community, we will be having a VIRTUAL fundraising Gala. By changing to an online event with no dinner or venue rental, the event will now be FREE for all participants. We have an amazing program planned for you the evening of September 27th. We will be Livestreaming the pre-show Happy Hour program that evening at 5:30 PM, and the Virtual Gala Program from 6PM - 7PM over our HPAAC YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLLBoswx7EuSY7SUzUgHoZA
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
- Anytime - Register for free to participate in the Online Gala - select the Register button. This will also register you for the online Silent Auction with over 90 items.
- If you are having trouble registering for the Gala, you can also text HPAAC2020 to 76278 and follow prompts.
- Up to 2 Weeks prior to September 27th, 2020 - You can View and Bid on our Auction Items!
EVENT PROGRAM
5:30 PM - Online Social Hour
- Gather with your viewing group and enjoy some online entertainment from HPAAC.
6 PM - HPAAC Virtual Gala Begins
- View a special program from HPAAC and our many artistic partners.
- Be sure to bid on our many wonderful auction items.
- Be generous and support our Fund A Need to support our many wonderful programs in the Hastings/Prescott Area
7:00 PM - Virtual Gala Ends
8:00 PM - Online Auction ends and bidding is closed.
