EVENT CANCELLED
After careful consideration, we have decided to cancel the 2020 Celebration of Hope & Progress on March 28, 2020 at the Mellon Auditorium.
The health of our patients, staff members and Washington, D.C. community is of primary importance to us. As Johns Hopkins Medicine, CDC and local health officials continue to monitor COVID-19, our hospital leadership has decided that cancelling the gala is the most prudent option at this time.
We regret having to cancel this celebration in honor of nursing care and look forward to sharing more information about nursing education programs at Sibley with you in the near future.
Please know that your support of nursing education is making a real difference - because of you, we are able to support nurses who pursue their specialty certifications at no cost to them. You have helped nurses get their bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees in nursing. You allow us to provide simulation training programs that challenge nurses and other clinicians to think critically, work quickly and collaborate as a team. The programs you make possible help us ensure that patients receive expert, specialized nursing care.
Thank you for your understanding and support. If you would like more information about
COVID-19, please go to CDC's website or visit hopkinsmedicine.org/ coronavirus.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please contact me at 202-660-6814 or [email protected].
