Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and in keeping with health and governmental recommendations, TriCity Family Services has chosen to make the socially responsible decision of transitioning its Emerald City Gala from an in-person event, originally scheduled for March 21, to a VIRTUAL FUNDRAISER that will take place June 6-13, 2020.
As first responders during this crisis, our clinicians continue to be there for the mental health needs of our community. Now more than ever, it is important that we continue fundraising efforts to help raise critical dollars and ensure that our counseling services remain accessible for everyone. For many nonprofits, including TriCity Family Services, the annual fundraiser is the single biggest revenue generator of the year. While we certainly understand that everyone is impacted by current events, we want our supporters to know that we are still there to serve.
For one week in June, our valued supporters will be able to engage remotely and experience an online auction, raffles and virtual paddle raise. During that time, we will acknowledge event sponsors and Golden Heart Award recipients ... and will also formally recognize sponsors and awardees at our next in-person Gala, in March 2021.
If you already purchased an event ticket, we would like to automatically convert your ticket to a fully tax-deductible donation for TriCity Family Services. In addition, we are offering a ticketed user only raffle item. If you would rather receive a refund for the ticket, please email Michelle Rollins, firstname.lastname@example.org, by May 15.
