The Lawrence Humane Society invites you to the Bark to the Future Fur Ball: The Lawrence Humane Society's 25th Annual Auction and Fundraiser, on Friday, September 20,2019 at Crown Toyota in Lawrence, Kansas.

This year's Fur Ball is a look back at our storied past and a look forward to our exciting future as we raise $150,000 to benefit homeless pets in our community. Featuring tasty bites, specialty cocktails from local mixologists, and great silent and live auction items, this year's cinematic-inspired party is one you won't want to miss!

Tickets will also be available at the door ($85 each, subject to availability) beginning at 7:00pm on Friday, September 21.

Parking
Parking will be available in the Crown Automotive parking lot, with overflow parking available in the Wal-Mart parking lot.

Attire
Every year, the majority of our guests dress in attire related to our event theme. This year, feel free to come as Marty, Doc, or even Biff! We encourage creativity (tasteful, please). If you are not planning on dressing in themed attire, cocktail or smart casual attire is welcome.

Participation Rules and Information

Credit Card Required
Registration with a credit card is required to participate in the Silent Auction, Live Auction, Drawings, Paddle Raiser, and instant purchase items. If you are an event attendee and have not already registered your credit card, or prefer to bid through a personal shopper, please see a Gesture Event Pro in a black shirt.

Note: While credit cards are required to participate, event attendees may provide alternative methods of payment (checks, cash) to our check out staff to purchase winning items. Online-only bidders and event attendees who leave early and/or have not paid for their items by the conclusion of the event will have the credit card associated with their bid number charged.

Unclaimed Items
Purchased items that are not claimed at the event will be available for pickup at the Lawrence Humane Society beginning at 10:00am on Wednesday, September 25 and must be picked up no later than Wednesday, October 9.

Auction items not collected by October 9 are forfeited to the auction as a donation.

Item Terms And Conditions
Please honor the terms and conditions of any item you buy or win. Failure to arrange for the service, trip, meal, party, etc. within the conditions and/or limitations specified by the item donor imposes no obligation on the item donor or on the Lawrence Humane Society for a refund or replacement item/certificate.

By his/her purchase, the buyer waives any claim for liability against the Lawrence Humane Society or the donor of the property and/or services. Neither the Lawrence Humane Society nor the donor is responsible for any personal injuries or damage to the property that may result from the utilization of property or services sold. Items and services are sold "as is" or "where is." Donors are not selling the auction items and therefore buyers should not ask for refunds or exchanges.

Item Shipping
The Lawrence Humane Society welcomes participation in the raffle and silent auction from supporters throughout the United States. Item winners unable to physically pick up their items from the Lawrence Humane Society due to geographical location will be contacted to arrange shipping; shipping and handling fees apply.
