7th Annual Take a Bough

The Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation invites you, your family, and friends to attend our holiday tree and wreath auction and wine tasting event! It's a great way to kick off your holiday season! This auction will showcase decorated trees, wreaths, and tabletop centerpieces that are all available for bid. The trees will have additional added value items such as restaurant gift cards, hotel stays, toys, and much more! Bidding will open online on Monday, November 11, 2019 and end on November 16, 2019 at 9 p.m.

In order to bid on the trees and wreaths, you MUST have a mobile device with a wireless connection at the event. It is recommended you bring your own device in order to receive real-time updates on your bids.

Wine tasting tickets are $25 per person. Non-Tasting (designated driver) tickets are $10 per person. Doors open at 6:30.

Samples for our Wine Tasting are provided by: 

Arsenal Cider House has two locations, one in Lawrenceville and one in Wexford. They make a variety of hard ciders and honey wines. Bottles will be available for purchase along side the samples.

Deer Creek Winery is located at South Hills Village Mall. They make red and white wines and specialize in raspberry and other fruit wines. Bottles will be available for purchase along side the samples.

Refucilo Winery is located on Western Avenue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Their vineyard is situated in Mendoza's Uco Valley, surrounded by the majestic Andes Mountains. They specialize in dry wines. Bottles will be available for purchase along side the samples.

WPCNHF was founded in the 1950's and was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 1976. WPCNHF is the only organization in Western PA dedicated exclusively to serving the bleeding disorders community.

As a non-profit health related agency, we must raise all of the funds needed to pay for our services. We are thankful for all those who support our mission and our members through their generous financial contributions. Throughout the year, we are able to offer many services at no charge to our members.
