100% of your donation will support Kinnect's work to ensure that every child grows up in a permanent, loving home.

No act of generosity is too small to make a difference.

Kinnect's annual Scrabble Tournament is a fun event for novice and expert Scrabble players alike. Word nerds can compete to make it to the final round, intermediates can see how they stack up against our longtime competitors (some of whom even travel across state lines to attend!), and just-for-funners can watch the action, play cornhole, or participate in other fun activities.

Registration begins at 12:30pm, play begins promptly at 1:30pm.

Tickets include two drinks, heavy appetizers, your choice of two or four 20-minute rounds of Scrabble, and opportunities to win prizes. The 16 highest scoring players at the end of four rounds compete to play in the final game.

Your support matters.

Too many children grow up in foster care, bouncing among 20-30 foster families and institutions, only to "age out" heartbroken, confused, and without any supportive relationships to help them navigate the world.

Your support for the 10th Annual Scrabble Tournament will help change that.

Kinnect programs support children and families at every stage of their system involvement--from programs for teenagers who have been in care for many years, to intensive interventions within 24 hours of a child entering care, to family support networks that prevent children from coming into care in the first place.

Kinnect builds sustainability into all of our programs. We do this through a "train the trainer" model and an extensive network of public and private partners that we have cultivated over many years. That means that your support today will have a double impact: changing the lives of children who are in care today, and reforming our child welfare system to better serve every child who may come into care in the future

Thank you.
