Ed Dunkelblau is the director of the Institute for Emotionally Intelligent Learning and an internationally known speaker and consultant on the topics of social-emotional learning and character development, safe schools programming, and humor in education. He has written numerous book chapters and articles and has been an organizational consultant to schools, districts, state boards of education, and corporations. Dunkelblau was the lead consultant to the Kansas board of education in developing the United States's first social-emotional and character learning standards, and he is one of the select cadre of speakers working with the U.S. Department of Defense's Yellow Ribbon reintegration program for returning service members.
In addition to Dr. Dunkelblau's impressive resume summarized above, he teaches a course in Career Counseling at the Rosalind Franklin University School of Medicine and has counseled many private clients.
