"Cheetah" by Kristian Schmidt

This amazing picture was captured by Kristian Schmidt in Kruger National Park in South Africa.

A cheetah can accelerate from 0 to 113 km in just a few seconds, faster than a Tesla!

One way to always recognize a cheetah is by the long, black lines which run from the inside of each eye to the mouth. These are usually called "tear lines" and scientists believe they help protect the cheetah's eyes from the harsh sun and help them to see long distances.

Measurements: 40" w x 53" h

Grammy nominated photographer/director Kristian Schmidt has shot subjects spanning from fashion to wildlife, Kristian has developed a unique style that focuses on the use of dramatic juxtaposition and opposites to create stunning and enigmatic images.

In recent years, Kristian's photography has been on exhibition at some of the most prestigious venues worldwide, including Milk Studios in New York City, Art Basel Miami, the Cannes Film Festival, Opera Gallery London and Art Monaco.
