Why should I provide an email for ticket purchases?
We are 100% committed to the flawless execution of your event. By capturing email addresses during ticket purchase, your guests will receive immediate notification that a ticket has been purchased for them. The email contains pertinent event information which the guest can refer to up to the day of the event and can be used at tax time as a receipt for tax purposes.
The Evanston ReBuilding Warehouse is a non-profit organization that promotes the reduction of waste in landfills through sustainable deconstruction and renovation building practices. Reclaimed building materials are sold at our warehouse at low cost to the community and the proceeds support our education, job-training and job-development programs which foster individual, community and economic growth in Evanston and beyond.
The Wrecking Ball, our annual fundraiser, is a casual night filled with games made of reclaimed materials, food, drink, music, and our signature Designer Challenge silent auction of home decor and art made by community members out of reclaimed and recycled materials. It is a great opportunity to meet our board and staff, learn more about us and support our mission. The event is held at the Jewish Reconstructionist Congregation, a stunning Leed platinum certified building that is the perfect environmentally conscious venue to go along with our values.
Calling all designers, crafters, and DIY-ers: take part in our Designer Challenge! Submit your home decor, furniture, and art by September 28th to be included in the silent auction at the annual Wrecking Ball Fundraiser. All submissions must be made using a majority of reclaimed materials.
