What are we fundraising for?

Proceeds from the "Derby Days - Silent Auction" event on May 4th will be set aside to help fund the the Upper Campus's Schoolyard Redevelopment Plan.

In November of 2018, Bay View Montessori was awarded the Conceptual Schoolyard Redevelopment grant from a consortium of environmental leaders throughout the city of Milwaukee. They will help us design, secure grants, and develop our upper campus school grounds to provide a plethora of earth-related sciences to enhance our environmentally-focused Montessori philosophy. The school must offset the grants by raising thousands of dollars to enable the project to move forward.

The grant is a 3 year cycle that provides expertise in design (year 1), guidance for funding (year 2) and construction (year 3).

Your support of this project will have a multi-fold benefit, for the students, the community and Milwaukee Public Schools.
