This sale features the top end of our May Embryo Transfer heifer calves. These females would have just been picked up from TransOva when we put together our October 30th SmartAuction. This set offers some exceptional matings and represents the top end of our May ET calves without anything held back or picked through. Barber Ranch is retaining 2 flushes on each heifer (with a minimum of 6 embryos per flush) at the seller's expense and the buyer's convenience. All heifers have been DNA parentage verified with genomics.

All embryos sell without guarantees on pregnancies because they are the last embryos we have of these matings and we no longer own the dams or the dams are no longer alive. The vast majority of the embryos are conventional, but pay attention to the notes on each mating as there are a handful of IVF embryos mixed in as well. All embryos are stored at Hereford Vet Clinic at Hereford, TX.

Lots 1 to 5 are live cattle.

Lots 6-18 are embryos.

Lots 19-54 are semen.

SmartAuctions will invoice all buyers and release the semen/embryos after payment is received. All embryo lots must be paid for and placed with the new owner prior to January 1, 2019 or Barber Ranch reserves the right to terminate the sale. A credit/debit card will be required ONLY to verify identity for bidders, but you will not be charged for your purchases on your card UNLESS you specifically choose that option. If you pay with a card you will be charged a 5% transaction fee. If you pay by check after receiving an invoice via e-mail from SmartAuctions the 5% transaction fee will be waived.

This sale will close race-horse style at 6:00 pm CT on Thursday, December 27th, 2018. Please note that the countdown clock may be shortened after the auction has closed for a while. Please be sure to refresh your screen periodically as well.
