Celebrate Dignity Housing's Playground Project: Beverly's Playground
Dignity Housing's mission is to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty that confronts low-income families and individuals in Philadelphia. Dignity Housing breaks the cycle of homelessness by providing quality transitional and permanent supportive housing, promoting self-sufficiency, and creating opportunities. This spring Dignity Housing will be breaking ground on our playground project, Beverly's Playground Sponsored by Fox & Roach/Trident Charities and our gala will be in celebration of this momentous event and promote our children's well-being Because Play Matters.
Join us for a fun-filled evening on Saturday, March 30th at the Hilton's Penn Landing. The Gala will feature fabulous food, drink, music, dancing, and a beautiful view of the Philadelphia waterfront, along with a silent auction (including several items and experiences donated by last year's Super Bowl Champions and "Champion of Dignity" award recipient, the Philadelphia Eagles).
The Gala is a primary source of fundraising for Dignity Housing's programs. Your contribution helps provide our residents supports to place them on the path toward self-sufficiency, including individualized case management, an after-school program for the children, access to our Resource Center and computer labs, scholarship funds, and much more. Last year, proceeds from our Annual Gala helped to provide housing and supportive services to 161 individuals in 64 households - including 87 children.
We could not provide the housing and supportive services to help our residents stabilize their lives and move toward self-sufficiency without YOU. Your involvement truly makes a difference to our residents and the homeless population of Philadelphia.
