Lynsie Jo Ogden
4th Season

"Ballet Arkansas's 40th anniversary is a huge milestone for all of us. I'm excited to explore new repertoire, and discover new limits within myself. Mostly I'm excited to share the stage, and the journey with my Ballet Arkansas family."

Lynsie Jo Ogden is from Thornton, Colorado where she trained at the Academy of Colorado Ballet. Lynsie graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelors of Fine Arts, and a minor in Anthropology. Lynsie was a member of Utah Ballet, performing most notably; Rick Tjia's Rissig, and Edgar Zendejas' Ziji. After graduation Lynsie served as the Stage Manager for the Marriott Center for Dance. Lynsie joined Ballet Arkansas after dancing with Montgomery Ballet, and Fort Wayne Ballet. During her time spent with these companies she performed the roles of Bridesmaid in Don Quixote, Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Meg in the Phantom of the Opera, Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, Yellow girl in Gerald Arpino's Confetti, Snow Queen, and Kitri's friends in Don Quixote. Lynsie has performed many roles during her time spent with Ballet Arkansas such as; Group Therapy, (e)motions, Memoryhaus, Under the Lights, Obscura, and was selected to participate in a weeklong art installation at the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
